Re: Anyone tried the Cakewalk v-studio 20?
I've been using Sonar for several years, currently using Producer Version 7 and have owned several Roland V series hard disc recorders including the 16 track version over the years. The only advantage I see to the V-studio is the hardware interface. I've used a couple of different mixers and interfaces over the years but ultimately found that for simplicities sake, it is just as easy to use the GUI with Sonar/Cakewalk products without the need for external hardware, with the exception of my audio interface. The faders etc are easy enough to manipulate onscreen and you can write scenes and changes easy enough.
